Rúben Luz
PhD Student

Rúben Luz holds a BSc in Biological Sciences and Health and completed his Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2018 by University of Azores, with a master thesis entitled "Biological activity screening of isolated freshwater and thermal water cyanobacteria from the Azores".

Since 2017 is part of REBECA project (INTERREG-MAC) with a research fellow and collaborates actively with ongoing projects REBECA-CCT (INTERREG-MAC) and 3B-Vent. Has participated in international congresses with several first author oral communications and posters. His research topics are focused on cyanobacteria taxonomy and bioactivity research.
