She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Coimbra and a Master’s degree in Ecology and Environmental Management from the University of Lisbon.

She is currently a PhD student in Marine Sciences at the University of the Azores.

Her areas of interest are maritime spatial planning, maritime governance, marine protected areas, ecotourism and citizen science applied to sustainability.
