Matilde Costa is a biologist with a background in Human Biology and Health from the University of the Azores.
Her scientific experience has been developed primarily in the study of cyanobacteria and their bioactive compounds, with particular focus on exopolysaccharides.
During her research, she has worked with chromatographic analysis, microbiological approaches, and Danio rerio toxicity assays.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, further developing her interests in biomedical research and the exploration of biologically active compounds.
