“The CIBIO-Açores researcher participates in the COST Action PalaeOpen meeting in Brussel”

Researcher Pedro Raposeiro from the Research Center in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources at the University of the Azores participated on October 16th in a meeting in Brussels at the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Foundation. He is part of the management committee for the COST Action "CA23116 - Open Palaeoecological Data (PalaeOpen)."

PalaeOpen aims to make scattered palaeoecological data publicly accessible and harmonized, supporting nature conservation through the analysis of ecosystem responses to climate and land use changes over millennia. The initiative will promote collaboration between scientists and stakeholders by organizing workshops and developing educational materials for schools and universities based on the collected data.
