2nd workshop under the Marine Sabres project

On 17 and 20 January, the 2nd workshop with stakeholders organised jointly by researchers from CIBIO-Azores and IITAA took place in São Miguel and Terceira, respectively.

The Marine Sabres project is a European consortium of 21 partners whose aim is to develop and test a simple socio-ecological model for managing ocean ecosystems, focusing on three different regions: the Arctic, the Tuscan Archipelago and Macaronesia. The project stands out for its focus on integrating different stakeholders throughout the process of creating this model.

This 2nd workshop presented the preliminary results of the intervention of the different stakeholders in the definition of priorities and the subsequent collection and analysis of data. The different participants to evaluate the preliminary model.
