CIBIO-Azores organizes the 8th edition of the BIOLISLE Spring Seminar on April 29th and 30th Event brings together national and international researchers at the University of the Azores in Ponta Delgada

CIBIO-Azores will host the 8th edition of the BIOLISLE Spring Seminar on April 29th and 30th, a scientific event that will take place in Amphitheatre VIII at the Ponta Delgada campus of the University of the Azores. The initiative aims to showcase the research projects and activities developed by the center, fostering knowledge sharing among researchers and dialogue with the public.

The seminar will feature the participation of students and researchers from the University of the Azores, as well as external guests from prestigious national and international institutions. Confirmed attendees include representatives from Geosciences Barcelona (GEO3BCN) and the University of Murcia in Spain, as well as the Institute of Organic Biogeochemistry in Geo-Systems at RWTH Aachen University in Germany.

Over two days, participants will have the opportunity to present and discuss topics related to biodiversity, ecology, biogeochemistry, and other fields within the natural sciences, strengthening collaboration networks and promoting the internationalization of research carried out in the Azores.
