Participation in the 8th European Phycological Congress

On August 23rd, during the 8th European Phycological Congress hosted in Brest, France, João Faria, a researcher from CIBIO Azores, presented an oral session entitled " Following the invader Rugulopteryx okamurae nos Açores (NE Atlantic): challenges and perspectives". Information about the species' distribution in the region, its effects, ongoing initiatives, and forthcoming actions concerning this invasive alga were disseminated.
