"BACA/CIBIO-Açores researchers in highlight on National Scientists' Day

Researchers Rita Cordeiro and Vanessa Costa, from the Azores Algae and Cyanobacteria Bank (BACA), were present at the EPROSEC School invited by the Azores Microbial Observatory (OMIC) to celebrate the Portuguese Scientists' Day. The morning was attended by 110 8th and 9th grade students from the EBJI Arrifes School, where OMIC and BACA were presented as science centers for dissemination and research, respectively. The BACA researchers also had the opportunity to talk about their paths as scientists and to encourage young students towards science in all its forms."
