‘Climate Change Threatens the Health of Azorean Lagoons’
The 24 November issue of UAciência features an article by researchers Pedro Raposeiro and Vítor Gonçalves that warns of the impacts of climate change on lake ecosystems. A study carried out on several lagoons in São Miguel showed that the rise in temperature in the northern hemisphere has caused irreversible changes in their condition with huge losses in biodiversity.
